- Barbican Art Gallery & the Curve - Designed in the 1960s and constructed in the 1970s the Barbican Centre was opened on 3 March 1982 by HM The Queen. Located at Silk Street, London EC2Y. Open 363 days a year, the Barbican presents a uniquely diverse programme of world-class performing and visual arts, encompassing all forms of classical and contemporary music, international theatre and dance, visual arts and design, and a cinema programme which blends first-run films with special themed seasons. - Brick Lane Gallery - The Brick Lane Gallery exhibits an eclectic variety of contemporary and street art by British and International artists, focusing mainly on exhibiting emerging and mid-career artists. - Frith Street Gallery - Since opening in 1989 Frith Street Gallery has developed a programme of exhibitions by international artists working in painting, photography, sculpture and film & video. The gallery currently represents a group of 22 artists both from Britain and abroad as well as collaborating with other artists on specific projects. The gallery is housed in a series of distinctive modern and period rooms occupying two adjacent buildings, one seventeenth and one nineteenth century with a combined exhibiting area of 166 square metres. - Hauser & Wirth Gallery - In 2003, Hauser & Wirth London opened at Piccadilly 196A in an historic building designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens, adding a prominent exhibition space. The gallery's new East End space Coppermill, inaugurated in 2006, provides a platform for ambitious large scale projects. Current exhibitions | Map

- Hayward Gallery - The Hayward Gallery is part of the South Bank Centre which includes the Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Purcel Rooms and the Poetry Library. The Gallery was opened by Her Majesty The Queen in 1968. It is an icon of sixties brutalist architecture and is one of the few remaining buildings of this style. The Hayward was designed by a group of young architects, including Dennis Crompton, Warren Chalk and Ron Herron. The Hayward is named after the late Sir Isaac Hayward, the former leader of the London County Council. Current exhibitions | Map

- Kings Place Gallery - Kings Place galleryKings Place is a hub for music, art, dialogue and food, housed in an award-winning building in Kings Cross, which also provides world class conferencing, events and office space. - Mall Galleries - Housed on the Mall in John Nash's elegant 1827 Regency Terrace, the Mall Galleries are prominently situated on the ceremonial route between Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. - National Gallery - Not far away from National Portrait Gallery on the north side of Trafalgar Square you will find the National Gallery which was founded in 1834 and has one of the greatest art collections in the world. - October Gallery - Founded in 1978, the October Gallery is an art gallery dedicated to the appreciation of art from all cultures around the world. The Gallery exhibits and promotes art of the transvangarde - or trans-cultural avant-garde - that is to say, the work of artists who, whilst working at the forefront of their own respective cultures, assimilate into their work elements from other cultures as well. - The Photographers' Gallery - The Photographers’ Gallery is one of the UK's primary venues for photography and one of London’s most popular public galleries. Established in 1971, the Gallery was the UK's first independent photographic gallery. Current exhibitions | Map

- Pump House Gallery - Situated in the middle of Battersea Park, London. The gallery incorporates four gallery rooms with stunning views overlooking the 200-acre park and a large plot of land directly outside. - Royal Academy of Arts - The Royal Academy of Arts has a unique position in being an independent, privately funded institution led by eminent artists and architects. We were founded by George III in 1768 to promote painting, printmaking, sculpture and architecture; there are some 100 Academicians in those disciplines. Today the Royal Academy continues to encourage the creation, enjoyment and appreciation of the visual arts through exhibitions, education and debate. - Serpentine Gallery - The Serpentine Gallery, situated in the heart of Kensington Gardens in a 1934 tea pavilion, was founded in 1970 by the Arts Council of Great Britain. The Gallery attracts around 600,000 visitors a year and is one of London's most loved places for seeing modern and contemporary art and architecture. Gallery is open daily from 10am to 6pm. - SS Robin Gallery - SS Robin Gallery is housed in the newly restored cargo hold of the world's oldest complete steamship, showing world-class temporary documentary photography exhibitions from February to November. The Gallery is open from 12pm-6pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 12pm-4pm on Saturdays, from February to November. Admission is free, and donations are welcome. SS Robin Trust is a nonprofit registered charity: all proceeds go towards the Trust's work with local schools. Please note they currently have no wheelchair access. Tate Britain gallery- Tate Gallery - Named after Sir Henry Tate it holds approx. 10,000 art pieces. For a hundred years it has been a house of works of art. - Tate Gallery of Modern Art - Transformed from an old power station by the Swiss duo Herzog & de Meuron at the cost of 130 million pounds this gallery is becoming very popular. - Victoria Miro Gallery - The Gallery is housed in a converted Victorian furniture factory on Wharf Road, NI and with over 8,000 square feet of exhibition space it is one of the largest commercial spaces in London. Current exhibitions | Map

- Wellcome Collection - Wellcome collectionPart gallery, part museum, events, an extraordinary library and more, Wellcome Collection explores the links between medicine, life and art, placing science in the broad context of health and wellbeing. Spanning six centuries, exhibits range from the bizarre to the beautiful, the ancient to the modern. - Whitechapel Art Gallery - Founded in 1901 to 'bring great art to the people of the East End of London', the Whitechapel Art Gallery occupies a distinctive arts and crafts building designed by Charles Harrison Townsend. Its first exhibition, which included the Pre-Raphaelites, Constable, Hogarth and Rubens, attracted 206,000 local people. The programme has ranged from showcasing art from Africa, India and Latin America to premiering solo emerging figures such as Picasso, Mark Rothko and Jackson Pollock. Current exhibitions | Map
