- Canary Wharf Ice Rink - The Canary Wharf Group is proud to announce that it will be hosting an open air ice rink for the seventh year in a row. Previous season's larger size rink has been maintained and is still located in the magnificent setting of Canada Square Park, surrounded by Canary Wharf's world famous towers. The park will again be decked in festive lighting transforming the estate into a winder wonderland, offering the finest facility for outdoor ice skating and entertainment in the Capital. The skating season begins on November 12th until February 19th. The rink is open seven days a week and will gladly host your office party, Christmas get-together, family outings or a skate-with-a-date. Festive music and drink will help keep everyone in the right mood. Brand new sharpened high quality skates available in every size are included in the price. No additional cost. Adjacent to the rink will be a viewing gallery attached to the Rink-side food and drink site "The Moose", back again due to popular demand". Buy tickets - The 3rd London International Classic and custom Bike Show - Now in its third year The London International Custom show is the number one Custom show in the UK backed by Back Street Heroes, the number one selling magazine in the sector. This is a truly international show with exhibitors and visitors coming from all over Europe to look at and participate in this mouth watering array of machinery. There is a £5,000 prize up for grabs to send the winning custom bike to the Wold Championship of Custom Bike Building in the USA. Last year’s winner from Ally Pally finishing second overall behind a bike from Japan and one of the winners in 2010 won the best modified Harley Davidson. 25 & 26 February. www.alexandrapalace.com - Hyper Japan - Hyper Japan is dedicated to bringing you everything cute, cool and contemporary about today's Japan, from 24-26 February at Earls Court. From food to fashion to film, Hyper Japan will be bringing what's hot on the Tokyo streets straight from Japan's top trend-setters. www.hyperjapan.co.uk - Imagine Children's Festival - A festival of literature, music, comedy and performance for the young. Children run the festival as part of Kids Takeover and will feature in performances. From 10 February until 26 February. www.southbanklondon.com - The London Festival of Railway Modelling - The London Model Railway Club have hand-picked over 40, high quality British, European and Continental layouts for visitors to enjoy including ‘Amberdale, Layout in a Shed’ a special OO gauge project layout built within the walls of a typical shed. For visitors who would like to learn about the different aspects of layout construction or simply improve their modelling skills there will be a variety of FREE demonstrations in the BRM Theatre. The demonstrations by expert modellers and will look at different aspects of layout construction. Over 100 exhibitors will be showcasing their product range, which includes models, tools, kits, parts and accessories as well as a number of specialist exhibitors selling hard to source items and products for specialist scales and gauges. For younger visitors there will be interactive activities and competitions one of which will encourage them to interact with the layouts as well as a colouring competition with prizes to be won. 24 & 25 March. www.alexandrapalace.com - The London International Dive Show - Scuba diving show covering all aspects of this exciting sport. - Fuller ’s Brewery Tours - Ever wanted to know what makes beer taste so good? If so, why not come and experience the history and heritage of Fuller's Griffin Brewery for yourself. They run up to 20 tours a week and their guides will show you around and will try to answer all of your questions, culminating with the highlight of any tour - the tasting (provided you are over 18).
