Keats in Hampstead Walk - Follow the story of Keats's life in this two and a half hour walk around Hampstead with readings from some of his best-loved poems. Starting at Hampstead tube at 11am, we will stroll through old Hampstead, visit the Vale of Health, dip into the Heath and finish at Keats House around 1.30pm. 22 May.
Travelling with Keats - Keats travelled all over the UK, including Scotland, the Isle of Wight and The Lake District. This reading will explore Keats’s poetic responses to the places he visited and include extracts from his letters home. A fascinating insight into early 19th Century travel and the travelling Keats. 1 June.
King Arthur & the Sword in the Stone - Come and join Cambridge Touring Theatre as they romp through the world of magic and mystery with their robust and comical musical performance of 'King Arthur & the Sword in the Stone'. Suitable for all ages, it is performed with their usual zest and vim! Merlin needs to find a pupil and chooses a local boy named Wart. They set off for the Tournament in London and Wart learns important lessons about how to be just and wise. When they arrive the biggest competition is 'The Sword in the Stone' pulling competition… but who will win and become Ruler of England? 4 June.
