- London Pride Parade - The London Pride Parade will take place on Saturday 29th June 2013 from 1pm in Central London. Parade leaves going along Oxford Street, to Oxford Circus then down Regent Street to Haymarket and then past Trafalgar Square and ending in Whitehall. http://londoncommunitypride.org

- Cyprus Wine Festival & Business Exhibition 2013 - This year is extra special as the event is celebrating its 30th Anniversary. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste Cypriot products and experience the vibrant presence of the Cypriot community in Britain. - Red Bull Soapbox Race - Each hand-made machine is fuelled by nothing but sheer courage, the force of gravity and perhaps a little Red Bull. This unique, non-motorised racing event challenges both experienced racers and amateurs alike to design and build outrageous soapbox dream machines and compete against the clock in a downhill race. Red Bull has held more than forty soapbox races around the world since the first one in Brussels in the year 2000 – from Australia to South Africa, Helsinki to St. Louis, Jamaica to Italy. Over the years, vehicles have ranged from realistic replicas to anything the imagination can conjure up. Previous designs have included a piano, a giant baby carriage, a rodeo clown, a massive corn on the cob, a jail cell and the Golden Gate Bridge. 14 July. www.alexandrapalace.com

- Great British Beer Festival - There's plenty to occupy you at the festival, you can play on some traditional pub games, enjoy live music, sample food, including good pub snacks, and also attend tutored beer tastings. Many of Britain’s best loved brewers will be taking their own stands at the Festival, including Marston’s, Worthington, Wells and Young’s, Brains, Thwaites, Hogs Back, Greene King, and Fuller’s.
