Third travelling option is to take normal London underground train (Piccadilly line in this case) from which later on you can take a different line and go wherever you have to go. This is the cheapest option. The train journey will depend on the train services and how often they run that particular day. Trains tend to be overcrowded in the morning and the afternoon rush hour so please allow extra time for travel. www.tfl.gov.uk

Fourth option is to take London black cab. These guys train for years to achieve their legendary status so we suggest that you take at least one trip with them whilst you are in London.

Fifth option is to book London minicab or even a professional chauffeuring service. Your driver can wait for you at the airport and drive you to your destination. This option is cheaper then taking a black cab but more expensive than Paddington Express.

Well, you have made it. You are in London so now let us explain about travel within the city. There are 6 Zones in the city and if you are taking underground trains (Tube) you will have to buy tickets depending where you want to go. The cheapest and easiest way to travel is to buy a weekly ticket thay you can use on the buses too. It gives you double mobility and value.

Please note: When boarding buses in West End you are expected to buy tickets before you enter the bus. There are machines located next to bus stop that allows you to do so. You have to have exact money for bus ticket as you will not receive change. You will not be allowed to board the bus if you do not present ticket. Tube prices and timetable.

The London Underground is the oldest underground railway in the world. The first tube line opened in 1863 and the carriages were pulled by steam engines. At the moment the London tube is the longest underground railway in the world. If the weather is nice and you have time please take a trip on the Docklands Light Railway (part of Tube Network) as it will give you a magnificent view of the River Thames and the part of town called Docklands. The line is mostly above ground so you can enjoy some fantastic views of the city and its waterfront.
